The VAW and the division of Hydraulic Engineering of the Institute for Construction and Environment of the University of Applied Sciences OST, Campus Rapperswil-Jona hosted the 8th BASEMENT Users Meeting on January 26, 2023.

The meeting was held online via Zoom and was a great success with eight presentations on projects from different countries, as well as three presentations from the BASEMENT development team. The presentations covered a variety of topics including flood risk assessment, modelling practice, river restoration, and hydropower. The interesting contributions and lively discussions attracted over 150 participants from five continents.
